Cory Pass

The Cory Pass loop won first prize for the most mosquitoes I’ve ever encountered on day hike. (For some reason, backcountry hikes are in a whole other league when it comes to mosquito and horsefly numbers.) It was a beautiful day for us and for the mozzies!

Another great thing about this hike was the varied and cool terrain we encountered throughout. The area around Gargoyle Valley was the highlight of the hike.
